AstenJohnson Clinton participates in Day of Caring

Clinton Operations associates once again participated in the United Way of Laurens County’s Day of Caring. The event was held on Saturday, April 8. Each year for the Day of Caring, the United Way deploys teams of volunteers to provide labor to various United Way partner agencies around the community, which will allow these agencies to save maintenance fees and in turn, use funds for direct community assistance. This event allows the community exposure to the agencies that provide much-needed health and human services to Laurens County. It is also a chance for the community at large to get involved in making Laurens County a better place to work and live.

This year, Clinton Operations again assisted at Good Shepherd Free Medical Clinic of Laurens County. The group of volunteers cleaned walls and windows, cleaned out gutters, pressure washed sidewalks, pulled weeds, cut the grass and laid out pine straw. They also replaced light bulbs and batteries in smoke detectors. Thanks to all of the associates who volunteered their time and hard work! They are Jayson Glenn (and wife, Tara, and son, Owen), Jill Wilkie, Daniel Hedou, Patricia Patterson, Summer Avinger, Michelle Crowder, Jimmy Bailey and wife, Debbie, Alisa Patterson, Erica Watts, Teresa Scurry and Melissa Davis-Gary.
