The SpeedTec dryer fabric is designed to reduce draw and sheet stress caused by speed differential in single tier positions and to reduce the negative impact of contamination on fabric performance. The asymmetrical weave structure provides a shifted neutral line ratio to reduce the effect of the speed differential caused when the sheet goes from being inside the fabric against the dryer to being outside the fabric when going around the vacuum rolls or bottom dryers. The micro structured sheet side MD yarns help prevent the formation of large contaminant particles and make it easier for showers to remove any build-up that occurs.
